The thoughts behind the painting:
To paint, to draw, to create-this is how I breathe freely. Expression once denied has become the source of life itself, carrying me out of illness and into renewal. Art is my way of feeling the pulse of life, of knowing that I am here, that I am alive.
A profile emerges, crowned not with hair but with tulips in radiant hues—purple, yellow, pink, blue. They rise upward like a garden in bloom, each petal unfolding against a sky of soft violets and deep blues. Around the figure, light shimmers like the edge of dawn, turning shadow into warmth.
The painting breathes of renewal: after the long stillness of winter, color bursts forth, declaring life. Fear once held the mouth closed, but now the air flows freely, curling in soft spirals.
Gratitude glows in every petal, each one a celebration of freedom—spring after winter, day after night.
